Getting working relationships working.

From an initial brief, we will develop a clear understanding of what you want to achieve and present a proposal that will meet the agreed objectives. A project could take the form of a half day session, a one day seminar/event, or series of workshop sessions. It could vary from an enjoyable exploration of group dynamics, through to a focussed - but enjoyable - programme with very specific aims.

The team you speak with is the team that will deliver on the day. It's direct to ensure nothing is lost in translation. You get to deal with our top people from day one, and for the duration of the project.

We take on the appropriate role for the task, from acting as facilitators/MCs on the day to 'top and tail' your event, through to putting together a small team to deliver a half day module, or full consultation, event design, management, implementation and fulfilment on a large scale.

A Teambreaks event can take place literally anywhere, e.g. at the client's premises, off-site at a hotel, in the mountains and moors of the UK or a destination elsewhere in the world.

Insights
When the event brief requires a focus identifying and demonstrating differences in people, Teambreaks uses 'Insights' as its behavioural preference indicator. Following exhaustive searching, we have settled on Insights for five main reasons:

We can work with it, unencumbered - the way we present Insights and integrate it into an event ensures maximum participation and absorption.

Insights faithfully represents the work of Carl Jung, often referred to as 'The Father of Modern Behavioural Psychology'.

Insights does not fall into the trap of 'boxing' individuals.

Participants without exception are captivated by the content and style of their report.

Insights offers real opportunities for people to develop and grow, through simplicity and accessible language.
The Insights questionnaire can be completed via the web prior to the event and used to generate a report showing the behavioural preferences of an individual. Teambreaks have developed a full range of ways to incorporate the reports into our events.

By avoiding psychological terminology or a judgemental stance and using colours to describe behaviour and preference, groups very quickly develop a common language about themselves and their characteristics

  • Sales people very quickly learn why certain customers are more difficult for them to win over, and go on to find out what to do about it.
  • Customer Service personnel can learn the differing behavioural needs needs of their customers and how to develop acceptable responses to different clients.
  • Team members share the content of their reports and can see what different gifts the individuals bring to the team. They also learn how to connect with and adapt to their opposite.

The above scenarios share a common outcome - they demonstrate that valuing differences is the key to successful relationships.

We can use Insights in the recruitment process, to ensure that a client gets candidates whose behavioural preferences suit the day to day work. This is a crucial area in recruiting, particularly when most personnel are hired for their skills and fired for their attitude!

We invite you to
experience an insights behavioural preferences report for yourself.

use this login when prompted:

218/peo/your initials

For example, if your name is Brian Taylor, put 218/peo/bt into the login box.

Then complete the questionnaire (10 - 20 minutes). Your full report will then be compiled and sent to you.

We guarantee it will make compulsive reading, raise a smile and really get you thinking.

Imagine what a great tool these reports will make when skilfully incorporated within an enjoyable and informative event.
