Beat the bomb!
A bomb has been planted nearby and it's due to explode at a pre-determined time. The winning team will be the one that can successfully discover which wire attached to the bomb can be safely cut to render it safe.

There are 16 wires and 15 are booby traps! How to discover the correct one? - from clues awarded on successful completion of tasks set by the architect of the bomb planting.

There is a twist in the plot so things may get a little more complicated as time goes on... and yes, it does actually explode if you get it wrong!

2.15 pm Bomb primed
4.15 pm Final challenges
4.45 pm Cut the wire (if you dare!)
5.00 pm Bye Bye

The Great Team Race Day
Possibly the best example of team work and fun, the great team race day combines the thrill of winning at the races with the satisfaction of working together as a team to achieve goals.

The basic idea of the day is for teams to earn fun money by completing team challenges. The money is then used to place bets on our very own pink fluffy racing pigs!

Each pig has it's own pedigree, racing form and betting odds and itís a team decision where to place the bet. There will be two heats and a final, and the team with the most money wins!

Activities can be selected to suit the venue and time of year, and can include mental challenge, initiative games and even African drum and Latin dance!

Typical half day itinerary (full day version available)

2.00 pm icebreaker and divide into teams
2.15 pm team challenges and races
4.15 pm Finale
4.45 pm winners announced!
5.00 pm Bye Bye

International trader
A challenge for teams who think they can multi task under pressure! Each team is issued with a set amount of US Dollars with which to purchase opportunities to work for various nations, earning currency of that nation.

The currencies are all weighed up against the Dollar at the end. The Trading Post is open for the purchase of equipment, whilst the Foreign Exchange Desk trades currencies and also controls the exchange rate, which fluctuates continuously!

A real test of team work and priorities run in a light hearted way.

Mission Impossible
Ever watched those TV challenge games and thought "I wonder how I'd do at that?" - here's a chance to find out!
The event begins with an icebreaker activity, followed by a series of challenges.

Teams will cross the minefield, make the nuclear waste safe, defuse the bomb and generally save the world at least six times, and still get home in time for tea and medals!

The finale will involve everyone in 15 minutes of chaos and then it's time to add up the scores and see who gets the glory... and who gets the wooden spoon.

Each team is armed with technical back up, VHS in-camera editing and a vast array of props and dressing up kit. They also have to include two commercial breaks!

On completion, all films are shown to the assembled teams and a vote is taken to see who has scooped the Oscars for best (and most amusing) production - great fun for all!
